A new player in the Telemark game is in town

They are offering Tele gear at their Bank and Heron location right nowe and the other stores to follow. This is great to see some competition in the market place.
" TELEMARK SKI EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE NOW We have added telemark equipment to our ski repertoire. At the moment, we only offer it at our Bank Street at Heron store only. The other stores will follow soon.
We carry Crispi boots and Rotefella bindings. The boots come in men’s and ladies’ models and feature walk and ski mode. There is a choice of rigid or cable style Rotefella bindings. In the near future, we expect to be able to offer demo telemark equipment, for those interested in trying it. " |

We have added a new section to our website under the Events Section. The "other Festivals" heading will lead you to a growing list of Telemark festivals in both Canada and the United States. Perhaps you might want to check them out, or organize a grand tour of all the festival syou can hit in one season.  Please feel free to contribute your own, or volunteer to manage this section of the website every season. Hope you enjoy learning about other Telemark festivals as the family grows. |

I would like to invite all FHU members down to the Ottawa ski and snowboard show (http://www.ottawaskishow.com/).

ADMISSION TO THE SHOW IS ABSOLUTELY FREE !!
Friday October 23 to Sunday October 25, 2009 !
Friday: 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (FHU on-site)
Sunday: 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (FHU on-site)

Freeheelers United for the first time, will have a booth at the show to promote the sport of Telemark skiing in the area. We will be on-site Saturday and Sunday Only.
Feel free to drop by our booth and stop to chat. If you have some time to spare and can help answer questions for curious onlookers we can always use a few volunteers to help out, Especially to help with bathroom breaks (smile).

2009 Course Roster Online With the snow flying around now and a few runs open at our local ski hills, Freeheelers United presents the 2009 Course Roster of the Freeheelers Ski School.
